Artist's Comments

Blue Buddha from The Blue Buddha Boutique created a bracelet like this back in December. Others have copied it, and others have copied the copy.

I did change it slightly, in that the HP is actually reversed from the top side to the bottom. Only a mailler would probably notice but I like the symmetry that change brings. and I used a beefier gauge of wire for man wrists.

I plan to actually expand this on out to a collar or choker but I'm tired and going to bed

Rings used:
16ga 7/32 Euro 4n1
16ga 1/4 HP 3n1 trim

heyyyyy, I've seen this before... :P

Looks good in the thicker gauge. May have to make a copy of your copy's copy's copy (copy?), and make one of my own.

Gotta say I'm with Keegan on this one. Gotta make me one of those. The only other bracelet I've seen with raised edges is my Mongolian Inspired Bracer.

You are awesome, keep it up!

Elegance in simplicity, is there nothing as beautiful as this?

This is one of those strange one in the maille world.. It started out closer to micro and seems to keep graduating up to a thicker gauge with every rendition. By all means make one and show it off!

The Persian edging is what I really like about this piece. (Look at my deviations, there is a distinct lack of Euro weaves, besides inlays) :) Really finishes it off nice.

Actually in prep for making this I even thought about replacing the Euro with your uberdwarf. But it was late and my brain hurt enough already.
:iconfrederickbeaudoin:
Actually, that would look pretty cool, but you'd have to use larger AR rings, both for th Uberdwarf and the persian(to allow space for more rings, since uberdwarf is a 6in1 weave).

Is that your mouse? O.o

Heh - I made one, too, soon after seeing BB's. Isn't it fun to make a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy?

I like it chunky on your wrist; would look silly on mine, though. Maybe wonder-womanesque though....mayhaps I will work with 16g rings one day and don her costume

One of them, yeah. :nana:

Hey, when you can't think of anything to make, copying has it's place. I have another idea now from making this, need more rings... :)

Ummm.... Lynda Carter... Wait... What was I saying?
